So.. laks didnt come today, felt so bored.. haha

I re-edit my surrealism essay and I don't seem to feel inspired lately. I think it's due to me being stress and frustrated with my work- the lack of software knowledge i guess. and I have to play around with it till I discover something for myself. Yes, I found out about the Brushes.. Gosh i'm so noob. haha I downloaded some and I can say that uplift my spirit, for once.. there was a huge improvement into my plain work. Less worry off my mind.

honestly, I feel that my works are rather plain for a start.. but, I'm gonna take david and tim's advice.."plain is good"

It's funny how design can work out for people.. "it's not about what you like all the time but one must bear in mind the client's interest and impression. "

Hopefully this coming weekend.. I'll have some free time. hopefully. I wanna go out with kathy that's why and collect zouk flyers as well. I need it for reference sake. (don't get me wrong) :)

hello.. it rained today.. well not only today but 3 days in a row.

Lecture with david was fine today, I kind of de-stress myself when I reached home while waiting for ross to come on skype. I was bored so I watched She's the man (7/10).. kind of predictable but the story line is good.

The good thing is that I have already confirm my concept, final layout with david. I got the job done which I'm happy about. Now working on tim's typography.

Lakshyya, my design theory bud got me a Bear "wire-keeper" ( i don't know what is it called -.-)

sweet of her :) (we do give and take.. I got her some chocolates from Italy and Germany last friday, thanks to Dad who went there for business trip)

hello.

got this urge to blog a little.. haha I just finished doing my typography and layout project. Up next would be my surrealism essay..urgh. sick of it already. From presentation, to discussion.. to theory paper.. even laks is also sick of it. lol.

anyway, tomorrow's monday again. time flies fast..

I'm left with 3 weeks till exams. sigh. But I'm happy with my life, my boy and my new friends in FMDS..(laks, eun lee, nazurah, vy, liang etc.)

I feel accomplished today. :) gosh.. how random can I get. haha

Hey! I wanna weekend..

Weekend is here again.. finally. I stayed up till 4 a.m. to do my design theory paper which shane said the word limit is 1,000+ words. Yes i know wth.. 1000 words. First, I was like wow.. how the heck am I going to do that? But during the process of writing..it's amazing how managed to come up with 1,200 words all in 1 night. Thank god for the human brain. :)

well, last week I did the first draft of my dt paper and showed shane and he told me that I'll only get pass for it.. and i'm like what the? okay... so yea, had to re-edit it last night. (for your info the grading system is made like this: pass,credit, merit and distinction.) So hopefully, I can get at least a merit for my first dt paper. Sigh.

I'm like loaded with projects right now.. Not complaining though. Just that, The lecturers.. they act as "clients" so if they're not happy with the design.. it's either you change it or they will move the stuff. However, it's good coz it somehow test a person's tolerance which in this case mine's improving.. anyway, gotta eat my brunch and do my work. haha toodles! :)

Well. today was rather a BIG Change for me..not gonna tell why..

So anyway, Just reached home.. school was alright and the thing is I don't feel inspired today.. think its because of the BIG change that happened and it just makes me feel all dull.

Nuff said.. Moving on, Last night's presentation was awesome, My team members and I did great and yes, I'm happy for the good results coz I work hard for it. We got 19/20 for presentation haha which is considered good for a start, being the type of person who literally started from scratch and used to have a shallow idea about the whole module. *I'm proud* :) Keep up the good work guys!

anyway, Gonna get back to my work.. so busy these days. busy busy as a bee. I don't have a life also, but it's gonna be fine :)

hehe.. Im happy..

I got new shoes.. aren't they pretty? :) I like.. not like, love it!

know what's the best thing? It cost me $40 and I was lucky coz the shop I got it from was having a sale so the price was marked down to $20 and was further reduced to $12.. Don't ask me how that happen, even I have no idea haha.. No. I didn't bargain it, Guess i'm just damn lucky :)

and did I mention, It's the last piece for this color. LOL.. *beams*

still feeling a lil groggy.. just woke up.

last night I had night classes and it passed by very fast..(to me that is, but not for ross haha..sorry dear)

Lakshyya didn't come coz she was sick :( but yea, I managed to bond with Nazurah so it was a good thing after all.

what struck me the most was Nazurah's question yesterday, she asked:

NAZURAH: "So what did you do the whole day?"

ME: I was in my bf's home spending time with his family plus the mum cooked for me this huge pie (it's frigging good).

Nazurah: .. so where's you're bf now?

haha here's come the funny part.

ME: "oh.. he's just across the road only, at burger king sitting down, reading his accounting book"

Nazurah and Liang: WHAT!!?? FOR 3 HOURS!

ME: yeah. :) why?

Nazurah: omg.. that's long.

Liang: fuyooh! respect respect man..to your guy. did he bring his laptop with him?

Me: no.. just 1 book.

Liang: waahh.. die of boredom weii..IF that was me, I would go home first, sleep then later will pick you up.

Me: hahaha..oh okay, well my guy is like that.. he will wait for me no matter what. :)

end of convo.. like I've always say to myself I'm very grateful that I have ross in my life. Happy that A guy like him is able to accept and tolerate me for a year now and still loving and holding on to me just as I am to him. I love you sweetie. *see you after my class.

Valentine's is next saturday! I feel like baking vanilla cupcakes.. so random of me.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention I went to AES last thursday to collect my recommendation letter and I saw vivi, kesia,aziela, timothy teo, tim, matt, bai,eugene then, boon juan and many others. Me and Ross had 2 cups of teh ping and I can say, I really miss it a lot.

well, it'll be long till i actually visit AES again.. maybe on teacher's day? hopefully.. :)

its amazing how my boy never fails to make me laugh..

once, he looks at you like as if he needs to tell you something serious..

and you end up laughing.

I like the way he distracts me.. breaks away my focus for a moment to just look at him doing something funny or sweet that will leave me smiling or laughing at the end of the day.

You can say my guy needs a lot of attention and pampering and I am ever willing to do that for him.

I love the way he surprises me also.. like recently, We we're chilling at MCD while I was doing my software stuff to the point he saw me looking annoyed and frustrated that he told me "honey, I'm going toilet okay?" and i replied "oh...okay, still engrossed with my work"

and guess what? he came back and in his hand, a Black forest Mc flurry.. and told me "here, I got it for you.. I bought a BiG meal coz I wanted us to share then you didn't eat also, so I was thinking to get you something sweet to somewhat boost your energy while you do your work."

yep.. that melt my heart and I reminded myself again...

"Rica, you're damn lucky to have this guy..." :)

weekend is here.. time to be happy.

this week was rather a challenging one for me.. not gonna elaborate further but I was a lil frustrated coz of illustrator and having a "bossy" lecturer on your side never makes the work done faster and easier..

but then again, with all his critiques It made me shut up and think "don't let his words affect or eat you..it's just a feedback (like what ross would always say to me)

it is true.. I have to be strong to be able to take in insults and criticisms especially when I join the work sector, dealing with clients of different backgrounds. Oh well, although it was quite tough for me this week, the good thing is that I managed to learn more.. *takes deep breath* I'm a happy person.

Oh yea, it rained today.. thank god.

Monday is coming in a few hours.. and it's february already, 1 month gone.

but look at the bright side, School's in too.. a day with david foo again (hopefully my layouts is good) and 13 more days to go till valentine's day. hehe

Now I'm just thinking and reconsidering of going to AES tomorrow to get my "recommendation letter/testimonial" from Mdm Siti. Now don't get me wrong, but I just want it for future purposes like employment to boost myself :) but the thing is, I'm feeling kindda lazy right now haha anyway, hopefully it'll be gone tomorrow and that a whole new mood will generate.

Today sucks. Yesterday was so much better.. why?

I woke up today and I was bugged by my mom, indirectly waking me up at 8 a.m. for church when it only starts at 11.15 a.m., moving on..

I can't find my wires and charger in the cabinet (all thanks to mom for "cleaning my mess") and I had to keep calling her because I have no idea where she put it.

Some more? I lost an earring. Its new also. like a day old. gosh.. How it happen? say my left ear was itchy last night so I took it off and I forgot to put it back today.

and when I was about to shower I remembered so I quickly went back to my room and I was searching high and low for it. -.-" Like I've mentioned, I have to call mom to ask whether did she accidentally sweep it out or something and she said.. she found a gold color thing on the floor and threw it away..

gaahh! what's there to talk about now.. like ross said, its gone already. let it be..
