I know this is soooo uber uber late post. hmmmm.. Been real busy these days. anyway, a quick update yea? :)
yeps, I turned 18 and Im real touched that My fam and Ross surprised me. (haha! they got me good! thanks guys.) So yep, Im 18 finally, *takes deep breath* Guess, I can say, Im more responsible now and Im accounted for all the things that I do to myself, and my life.. oh well, here's to me..hope this 18th year would be a good one for me. (staying positive about it thou)

sigh.. damn busy these days.. as if i dont have a life at all. all thanks to O-levels.. I kindda like treat my home like some hotel where I just sleep and eat there. I feel bad that I had neglected my loved ones these days..:( everyday I MUST stay back till god knows what time.. aargggh!! just updating a bit here. anyway, weeee! Im happy that im turning 18 this coming saturday.. yay! but yea, come to think about it..18= me officially an adult *gasp* which means more expectations, responsibilites.. lol but i guess, it wont be that bad yea? :)hmmm.. sucks that my school's having flag day this sat. which means I cant really spend the day all out.. oh well, still staying positive.. looking forward for the big day still.. 2more days and soon i'll be saying.. " toodles to 17" :D

while I was cleaning up my closet I came across a piece of paper that is tucked in between my old books and turns out its the same paper my childhood friends Jane, Dennisa and Glesa and I made few years back..I was delighted to see it one more time as its our first poem/compo we compose together back in first year high school..for some poem / compo contest haha we were asked to write about heartaches and matters of the heart topic so yea.. Enjoy guys!
echoes of the heart
there were two hearts who met in a dance..the moment was magical..there was a sweet song playing,there was harmony, and soon love was in the air..
they fell in love and they started building castles in their dreams and promised forever with all certainty, but somewhere in the midst of the fun, they got lost in the dance..something went wrong but they can never do anything. they were just drifting away..their fortress falling apart, there were many questions but no one had an answer.
the music stopped and there was silence…
it is a chain that all of us go through- falling in love and getting hurt and vowing not to love again.. sometimes, we all need to be alone, to feel blue and lonely..to listen to a song and cry ..then we asked ourselves, "why does the song have to end? why do we have to cry when love is taken away from us? "
We may be in control of our lives but we somewhat feel helpless in our relationships.
the tragedy of love is in getting hurt for there is no gain without pain, there is no permanence without commitment,and there is no lasting love without constant sacrifice..but love is only a gift give to us. We should not hold it in our hands for we may never find the strength to let it go when it decides to leave.. We should only embrace its warmth and glow while it last and then freely open our arms when its time to say goodbye.
There is always a reason why we have to move on..when we have to say goodbye to the feeling we wanted to say forever. Let us not wave our hands with a heavy heart, for love will have to set its wings free and find the place where it belongs.. We may have lost it but then again, when we close our eyes and listen to the echoes of our hearts.. we will hear that feeling resounding silently forever.
The only way to forget is to accept and the only way to move on is to look ahead and let the footprints of the past be blown by the wind of time. somewhere we'll fill our lives with joy and happiness. somehow we'll find love again- it'll wipe our tears and bring us the promise of the new life, a new hope and a beautiful beginning..only then can our hearts find a partner in a dance of life and hopefully never get lost again..

weeeeeee!! friday's here again. what a week i must say.. I'm happy. but now that is coming to an end..(booowhooo!) I just feel that they should extend it a lil longer.. another week maybe? hehe oh well, day 1,2,3,4,5 which was last fri-sat-sun-mon-tues was utterly BORING! my gosh it was draggy.. reason why? because ross had work and yea, i had to glue my ass at home. didnt feel like going out at all..
Then, wednesday came Ross and I went to Chinatown and Orchard road.. and guess what? Me and Ross walked from Chinatown all the way to Far east plaza. haha yes, u can call us crazy but I decided its better if we walked-that way we can explore SG better..haha It was fun..but i must say, It was hell tiring also.. my legs were about to give way already :(
Thursday, went to vivo with Ross..supposed to go Mount faber with him (4th or 5th attempt that we wanna go but failed) and sentosa so yea, we ended up in vivo instead.. because it was raining :S
We camwhored, went jalan jalan cari makan..(stuffed ourselves till we cant breathe haha! kidding) anyway, here's some pictures taken inside page one and outside vivo.. :D

SYIOK! haha.

Saturday, supposed to meet up with my cousin Karyn for yum cha- somewhere in shaw house/wheelock to eat cakes and whatever fuck and yea, she didnt turn up.. So me and ross felt like a bloody dunggu waiting for her..Good thing, ross' mum (Aunt Geri) came, coz she wanted to suprise Uncle Roy(ross' dad) but then he still seeing a client. In the end we decided to follow her to plaza singapura and we had our yumcha/early dinner @ hong kong cafe. Food was nice,Happy that I managed to spend time with Ross and both his parents after soo long..(Rarely see em thats why because his mum stays in aussie) Well, everyone's happy.. so thats a good thing :D

So i made breakfast for him and he personally "deliver" my timtam refill for this week.. oh well, My 1week holidays were actually damn good. managed to spend time with him and both families..well, obviously I didnt forget my studies as well..I also made notes those I didnt managed to cover last prelims and draw more sketches for my art o level coursework. *breathes deeply* tomorrow sch's in session again.. what a loooong day ahead of me eh? All the best to me and I pray..God be with me.. Be my guide.. Strengthen me..:P

Holidays= Indulgence.. haha. Guess that worked for me this week eh?

Ross' mum came over last tuesday and brought timtam's for me..hehe I was real happy..I love it thats why..
Yes, Its something special.. cant be found in S'pore not even in Candy Empire trust me.

Next up.. Yesterday Ross and I had cakes for our "late yum cha" hehe.. Had to give in to his cravings of Cheesecakes so yea..I must admit I am guilty as well, had my piece of Chocolate Indulgence.. :S but its all good.. We both ended our date feeling all content and happy..

hmmmm.. feelin all bored so i decided to watch "What a Girl Wants" and "Army Daze"
I should say it was a blast! i laughed a lot esp. when i was watching army daze.. my goodness.
Anyway, what a girl wants is about Daphne (Amanda Bynes), a spirited young American girl, travels to London in search of her long-lost father (Colin Firth), an influential aristocratic politician. As Daphne attempts to prove that love can conquer all, her impulsive behaviour creates an uproar in high society, where her unique style threatens to undermine the relationship she has waited her whole life to experience.. Overall rating would be 4/5..
Army Daze is a Singaporean film released in 1996. A comedy based on the National Service experience by a group of enlistees in the Singapore Armed Forces. It attempts to portray the multi-cultural flavour of Singaporean society with the extensive use of Singlish. Standard English is also heard, along with Malay, Hokkien and Mandarin, amongst other languages. The tagline of the movie, From Real Blur (Singlish reference to a mental state of confusion) to Real Men also reflects this desire.. Its a MUST WATCH SHOW! though i must say the picture quality is not that good..but overall, this movie rocks.. simple yet entertaining! *Two thumbs up!
